2013年12月20日的 Google Doodle 是格林童話出版200年紀念。
Google 有用心，改編的結局，去掉了血腥暴力，多了俏皮可愛。

美國童書達人 Anita Silvey 在《Children's Books & Their Creators》裡說「Like a small white pebble gleaming on the beach, the books of Marilyn Brook Goffstein enrich our lives with their simple beauty. Pared down to the essentials of line and word, her illustrations and stories speak directly to the heart... 她的書，像沙灘上一小顆潔白閃亮的鵝卵石，以簡單的美麗豐富我們的生命 ... 」
或許是太過簡潔，葛芙絲丹的書好像「叫好而不叫座」再版得不多。2001年格林文化出版的雙語版《Brookie and Her Lamb 教小羊唱歌》定價99元，也已絕版。
但就如 Time 時代雜誌的評語「Goffstein is a minimalist, but her text and pictures carry the same emotional freight as William Blake’s admonishment to see the world in a grain of sand and eternity in an hour.」
